How Much Food Are You Eating Now ????
I was and then I made sure I was equally spacing food and drink through out the day
I eat 2-4oz at a time.. depending on what it is.
for example I ate about 3/4 of carb control Yogurt for breakfast.
the container is 4 oz.
yesterday I ate 3T of lettuce wrap filling for lunch
an ounce of cheese for a snack
i weigh and meassure everything.
I get dizzy and lightheaded too. My doc said it's probably due to being dehydrated. I upped the water and that seemed to help. Sometimes I'm hungry, sometimes not. I eat too fast when i'm hungry and i get a lump in my throat. I have to "burp" up the bite to feel better. I'm doing good on creamed soup at hands. They're easy at work. I can get down about half of it but it takes me about an hour. Beth
When i get dizzy i know it is time to eat. This is what I had yesterday to eat.
breakfast Protein shake(adkins Can)
snack: string cheese( 1oz stick)
Lunch: 2oz tuna salad & 1/4 cup green beans
Snack: kroger brand carbmaster yogart(6 oz) they have 12g of protein
dinner: 6 med. size shrimp & 1/4 cup lettuce & cheese salad
snack: peanut butter & 2 wheat crackers
i just started the last week to be able to get my 64 oz's of water in , and 64-70 grams of protein in. Someone 2 years out told me the more food you get in the more you lose??? Since i've been able to eat more i have lost more. somedays I get in 3oz of meat per meal.
I think just a big learning experience. good luck

I stopped taking my BP meds the day of surgery and haven't really needed them since. I check my BP on a regular basis too
I'm eating fairly well. I get all my protein from food now. This is what I had today
B - 1/2 c. ff cottage cheese (14g)
1 Mini Laughing Cow Light Cheese (6g)
L - 2 oz. Chicken breast (14g)
1 Mini Laughing Cow Light Cheese (these are my fav! 6g)
D - 3 oz. Steamed Chicken w/ 2 pieces of steamed brocolli (21g)
Total = 61g of protein
