ANyone had it yet? my cycle has been wonky for about 6 months anyway. I average 28-35 days with 31 usually being D day. I am on CD31 today. *ugh* I am so tired. I think all the extra hormones that have been released from the fat cells are making my PMS worse. thankfully I haven't been too much of a witch.. but tired.. and sore. .and I want to cry.. and i really want to sleep I've only been up two hours. last time I was this hormonal and tired I was preggers.. and I know thats not possible.

I'm waiting to start mine anyday now. I am a pretty regular girl, with 28 day cycles and today is CD28 so any day now. My period ended the day before my surgery (thank goodness) and my one month surgaversary is a week from today. I can feel that I am holding extra water so I expect to have a good loss once I get my period out of the way. I know people have goofed up cycles alot after WLS though so I wont worry if she doesnt show up on time. I have done fertility charting for the last year so I wont have to worry that Im pregnant or anything. Also, a couple of days ago I upped my protein a bit and added an additional shake to the 2 I already took a day. My protein is around 100g a day now (75g from shakes) and I am not feeling quite so tired. I dont know if this is something you might want to try or not.

If you are in that much pain, take a pain pill. But as far as having a period after surgery, I was on mine for two weeks after surgery. Oh the joys of losing weight. We are all going to have normal cycles again. My neighbor is almost 7 months out and she has been regular since surgery. I have to say I have heard this a lot at support group also. Oh the joys of being a woman. LOL Jenn

Had mine at the 4 week mark after surgery....it was awful. I went back on the pain meds just to get some rest and it delayed me from returning to work for a week. But I hear the first one is the worse and I sure hope so.
Check on it!

Well, I haven't had a period serious Lord knows when. I have an IUD and since being on that and even when I was on the deprovera shot, I did not have periods. Well, I had my surgery a month ago, and was retaining lots of fluid last week for some strange reason. Then guess what? I'm having a period? UGH! Sorry gals, I know most of you/us like to be regular but I LOVE not having them and it's been over a week now and I'm STILL on it? It's not heavy or anything, but enough to be annoying, LOL. Take care ladies!

I'm waiting on mine any day now. It ended the day of surgery and my 1 month anniversary is Thursday so I know it's coming. Plus, I've been extra tired and I have been really fighting the urge to snack 24/7...PMS makes me hungry. I'm REALLY hoping I can blame this weight loss stall on that and once it's over I'll drop like 10 pounds in a week or something because it's very frustrating! I've been stuck at the same weight (and actually gained a pound) for a week!
