What did you eat ?
Good Morning my April buddie's !
Hope everyone had a nice weekend and you mom's enjoyed your day yesterday ! I know I did !
So what did you all eat yesterday? Here is what I had ,
Pre- breakfast: 16 oz. decaf coffee, 4 oz. carb countdown choc. milk w/ 1/2 scoop protein powder.
B- 2 T. turkey bacon
2 T. oatmeal
pre- lunch: 20 oz. water
L- 2 T. refried bean's
1 t. sour cream
1 t. chedder cheese
1 T. salsa
2 T. sugar free pudding mixed w/ 1/2 scoop protein powder
pre- dinner: 20 oz. water
D- 2 T. pork tenderloin
1 T. squash
1 T.refried bean's
1 t. sour cream
1 t. salsa
1 t. chedder cheese
S- 4 oz. carb countdown choc. milk w/ 1/2 scoop whey protien powder
That is it for me !

Sounds like you really have your eating under control I am still struggling but here is what I ate yesteday
Breakfast
4 oz mango smoothie with protein powder
pre-L
20 oz water
lunch
3 cheese crackers( on the go most the day)
Dinner
1 oz beef roast
tbls mashed potatoes and rice with 1 tsp gravy
post dinner
8 oz crystal light peach tea
snack
3 cheese crackers

ok - i need to know - what's your trick to eating an entire 1/2 scoops [1/8 of a cup] of protein powder, in just 2 tablespoons of pudding? do you just swallow it? isn't it all chunky? i just can't do it without gagging, nevermind in such a small amount.
B - 2 oz of columbo Light Peach yogurt
S - 4oz CL lemonade, 1/2 scoop Nectar fuzzy navel
L - 3 saltines with 2 T peanut butter, and with 3 slices of banana on top
S - same as previous snack
D - 3 oz pureed French beef stew
S - 3 pepperoni's w/ dab spaghetti sauce, and a handful of FF mozz. cheese melted on top. chewed thoroughly.
drank ~ 50oz of liquids - - still working on getting enough in between meals. i'd be so much better if we didn't have to wait an hour before and after each meal!!!

I just mix the 1/2 scoop with my pudding . I use the Chocolate Designer Protein powder and it does not seem to come out chunky at all . I am not crazy about the taste but if I mix it with choc. , vannilla pudding and even sometime's banana (pureed) it isn't bad at all ! Not something I want to take in everyday but I know I have too so I just do it ! I actually feel guilty when I eat it that way as my surgeon say's to stay away from sugar and sugar substitutes , but I can't stomach it any other way so this is it for me !
I don't alway's get my fluid's in either as I have to wait 3 hour's after eating before I can start drinking ! Then I am supose to drink at least 16 oz. before eating and the 16 oz. should be drank within an hour !
So beleive me I know exactly where you are coming from, when you say that it would be better if we could drink sooner !
Sound's like you are doing great with your eating ! Keep it up !

Snack at 6 am before work:
2T of tuna salad
worked for 4 hours
B 1 egg omlett I split with my kiddo
L: sea food salad (4T and only ate 3)
S: carb count down milk with iso pure mixed in
D: 2 T wendy's chilli 2 T of DH's baked potato with sour cream
I had a protien shake out I drank off and on all day
fluid great!
vits done!

B- Almost a whole 4 oz Carb & Sugar Control Strawberry Yogurt
S- 2 crackers with peanut butter
L- Grilled Cheese (one piece of carb control bread folded in half... fat free cheese)
S- 1/2 Atkins Advantage Bar (19g protein)
D- Inside of a Baked Potato
right now as i am typing..... the other 1/2 of the Pretein Bar
......trying to get all my water in....

Are you cooking for others and then eating 1 or 2 Tbls of each thing? I live alone and it seems difficult to me to cook things just for me and then have so little.
That said, I did cook a big pot of chicken chili today and am putting it in 1 C containers for the freezer. Hopefully, this will help in the future, but on a daily basis.....
