Hi Emily,
I try to eat protien first and carbs last. I can't tolarate high carb foods like potatoes and crackers. I do find that if I make it a point to eat meat first it sits heavier than carbs therefore I am unable to eat much more after that two or three bites. Try also eating cheese throughout the day, it's fast and easy to tote for snacks. Cheese is loaded with protien and usually has 7 grams or less of fat. I haven't hit a plateau yet and I am down thirty pounds so far. Don't forget to exercise (walk,walk, walk) and your fluids are equally important.
