hi guys whats up
Hey Brenda,
I am good. I have some issues, like I eat alot of tums, because of burning, like heartburn, in my lil tum. I don't sleep good at night either. But I feel ok, very little pain at this point, still some soreness but thats it. Getting ready to start the walking regime and get on track with that, although we are getting to the hot part of the year here, so I will have to go early in the AM if I want to walk ouside. How are you?

I'm here and doing well, two weeks tomorrow!! I've shifted to pureed foods, not sure I like veggies that look like babyfood but am happier about tasting food and feeling texture again!
As of this morning, I've lost 13.2 lbs since surgery, add that to the 15 before hand and I'm almost at 30 lbs GONE. I'm no longer morbidly obese, just obese!
Hugs to all,
Melissa
Hello,
I started back to work today. A little tired but not as bad as I thought. I am eating a little. My fave is cheese & peanut butter crackers. You know the ones you buy at the store with 6 in a pack. It breaks down so good. I ate two for lunch.lol. Anyway getting my protein in so I'm happy. Hope everyone else is keeping on.
God Bless

Hi - I will be 3 weeks out tomorrow!!!! I'm doing good. I will be gong back to work next week if things keep gong good. I maybe could have gone this week but want to make sure that I have my eating and drinking schedule kinda under control and know what I can/cannot eat and what causes problems etc.
I'm on solids and haven't had much problem with anything I've eaten. I'm sleeping alot in the am though so hopefully won't be too tires when I go back to work.
I lost 50 lbs prior to surgery on my own and was at a constant weight for months. Then when I finally got approved I went through the last meal phase and gained 20 lbs back. I'm happy to say that as of today I'm back to my 50 lbs gone from my before weight so down 20 lbs from surgery day. Can't wait to break this weight and get below that plateau I couldn't break before.

Hi Brenda, Good to hear from you, how are things going at your end?
I'm doing pretty good, gets better everyday. I had my 1 month post op visit today, was kinda discouraged, had only lost 21 lbs. Dr. told me not to worry I would be a slow loser because I was a lightweight, go figure, he said it would come off, that I had plenty of time. I got to advance to fish, Yippeee... It'll be good to eat some meat again.
Take care, hugs to you

My only complaint is that I'm tired. I wasn't tired at all last week and then a few days ago it started. I expected it though so I just keep thinking... this too shall pass. I'm not having any problems with anything I've tried to eat. I was two weeks out on Thursday and I lost 25 lbs. I definately feel much better than I expected to.

go**** was good to hear you say that you were tired. i think we're running pretty parellel right now, given we had surgery on the same day! i've had tons of energy over the last 2 weeks, then all of a sudden, Saturday rolls around and I could have slept all day. Other than that, i'm feeling fine.. but my energy is definitely lacking right now.
i keep hoping it comes back to me soon!
