Alice Hi
You're going to plateau many times. Sometimes it will just stand still for weeks-months and it's a shock when you're used to seeing it go down. Stay the course
Topic: RE: weight loss slow down and stalled
My weight loss is so weird too!! I'll lose a couple of pds for a week then nothing then I'll lose ten over the next two weeks FRUSTRATING!!!!

I'm right there with you. I have only lost 1 pound in the last three weeks. This does get depressing. Hopefully we'll see movement in the downward trend soon.

Topic: RE: How much has everybody lost????
I am down 80 lbs since surgery on 4-26-05. I have lost 35 3/4 inches total. I feel so much better and have more energy then I can remember in a long time.

I tried it and could not stomach it. I think it was just awful. I could taste the protein even after adding juice to it. Hope you like it and it helps.

Girl...I know how you feel... I am 14 months out and am on my second stall. First one was for 2 1/2 weeks and no this one is at 2 weeks. I thought I would not stall for at least six months but I guess everyone is different. So we can kick and stomp together!!!!!!!
Topic: weight loss slow down and stalled
I'm 17 weeks post op and I've only lost eight pounds in the past five weeks. I find it depressing to be slowing down so much so soon. Where's my six month honeymoon period of rapid weight loss everyone talked about?!
Are there others in the April 2005 surgery group who are going through the same slow down? Want to whine with me?
Actually I need a "stomping my foot and kicking things" icon.

Topic: ISOPURE ( drink )
My Doctor's office told me to try ISOPURE. She said drink it strait or add it to your water to flavor it - since water is just so plain.
It has no carbs -
no fat-
40 g of protien -
0g Sugar
For 20 oz It runs about $3.00 a bottle @ GNC but comes in cool flavors like grape, mago peach, ect.
** Just besure to get the ZERO CARB one to drink they have one with carbs**
Just thought I would share.
