Topic: RE: 6 month check-up
Hi Helen,
The nutritionist really didnt tell me what to eat but rather to eat 5-6 meals daily. she said if I am eating every 3 hours or so, my body is always digesting and burning calories so it doesnt think I am starving it. So what I've done is kinda looked at some old weigh****chers books(I'm a veteran dieter and have saved literature from every diet plan I've ever been on) to get an idea of things to eat. I dont want to get into a "diet" mode of thinking but I do want to eat the right things and not pick up any bad habits. And I think they have the right Idea as far as go nutritious food. So here is what I've eaten the last 2 days. It seems like a lot of food but it only averages about 1000- 1100 cal on fitday which is where they want me to be. good Luck and I'll write more menus if you want.

My daughter, her friend, my ex-husband and I did the 5K breast cancer walk at the City of Hope here in Duarte last Sunday. There were over 5000 participants. Best of luck with your walk.

I have kept up my membership at Curves as an incentive to get back into the routine. My goal is to go back before the end of this month. Size 18.......hmmm, I think the last time I bought a size 18, I was in middle school. We have a new Goodwill store here in town, I will check it out.
Thanks!

Great theory, makes sense to me! I can't wait to test the theory out when I get to the smaller sizes. Thanks for the encouragement!

Topic: OT: Breast Cancer Walk
Hello all of you 6-monthers! I hope you are all feeling fit & healthy. I am writing because this Sunday I am participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in NY. I have known way too many friends and family members who have been touched by this and various other forms of cancer. I am including a link to my Personal Pledge Page for the walk. If you are able to make a small donation to the cause, it would be greatly appreciated. Let's try to ensure that this horrible disease doesn't take any more of our loved ones. Thank you in advance.
