Hello Anita, Hey I have experiance the same thing...LOL It was about a month ago.. I came in from a walk and I was all sweaty and I just got a lazy -boy chair from the second hand store and said to myself heck if I can sit in the chair without breaking the arms off of it, and I have room on each side of me. I should be able to sit down in the bath tub... Well I go into the bathroom and sat down in the Darn thing, so I hope up and get undressed and start running the water for my BATH! OMG I take a bath every other day now... If I am up late I usually unwind with a cup of tea n' a nice hot bath.... OH its feels so Good... I am glad I am not the only person that felt this way... I am just over 6 monthes out and have lost 145 lbs, my surgery date was on April 18th and I have a ways to go just like you said but you have to remember that there is sooo much support here at OH that it seems overwelming sometimes to me .... Infact I have to give credit to the OH Singles Board for getting to know someone special and I am planning a move clear across the USA to my "New WLS Buddie" my partner for Life in the State of Maine and I live in Alaska. I am moving this Spring.. If I can wait that Long...... This site is soo awesome, Thanks for all the Help OH family... Tom 536/394/250 -145 lbs.

I liked that wow moment too. But my best wow moment was 2 days ago when I wrapped a regular size bath towel around me and it lapped over 2 inches!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so amazed I tried to wake my hubby up to share the moment but he has sleep apnea and was dead to the world. Hugs to you Katie. Dale G.

No I don't think it's gross. I think you had a problem for years and now you've accomplished something great by losing 117 lbs. I'm 6 months post-op tomorrow (27th) and I know I've lost at least 75 lbs but my scale broke and I don't know how much exactly I've lost. I wore 26/28W when I went in for my surgery. I wear 18P jeans and large tops. My hubby says I'm SEXY Yippeeeee keep up the good work. Dale Glass

I Know that this is going to sound gross, and for some of you you wont understand, but last night I took a bath in the regular bathtub for the first time in 14 years. Yes I know that sounds bad, but when you are as big as I used to be, fitting into a normal bathtub was a huge issue, and I wasnt able to just take a bath any time I wanted, so for the past 14 years I have mostly been only a shower a day kind of person. The only time I have been able to take baths is when we were traveling and splurging, and staying at a hotel with a huge jacuzzi tub. So last night I decided, hey I have lost 117lbs, im gonna try to fit my big ol' booty into the tub, and lo and behold, i FIT , and i still had room to move around comfortably. this was a huge moment for me. I still have a long ways to go, but i am sooooo much healthier and happier for having had the surgery done, and look forward to see what the future has in store for me. Anita B. 420/303/200 someday

Tom, Wow you look like a totally different person than you did in your first picture! Congratulations! I must say that going to WalMart and being able to buy clothes is really cool. It's really great to get 3 pairs of pants for what you used to pay for one! Keep up the awesome work!!! Teresa

Topic: RE: Calling All April Loser
hello, I had my surgery on the 25th of April my weight was 315 and prior to surgery I was 299. I presently weigh 236lbs. It is a struggle to find something you like, I have to admit I have not been behaving as well. Excercise is a number one problem with suffering from depression and fibromyalgia. I did go through a period where I wouldn't lose and even went up the scale a few pounds but I guess thats normal. Good luck on your continued journey. wls sista

congratulations on your success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a great feeling. I have lost 84 pounds so far too. i went shopping for my daughter this weekend and found lots of choices for myself. it's been along time since i could wear "regular" clothes. how exciting. i had to control myself because i knew i will not stay in one size for long, but it was fun just to know i had a choice. can't wait until i'm at goal. i'll buy a whole new wardrobe. take care. chris 285/201/140
