(crosspost - sorry if you've already seen this!) 1. This morning on a whim, I pulled out my wedding gown and slipped it on without unzipping it. We celebrated our 17th anniversary in September, so it's been a really long time since I was the size I am now! 2. A friend's young daughter came up to me after church this weekend to tell me that I really looked good. They hadn't seen me since probably right after the surgery. "I can't figure out what's different, but you look so great," she said. Well, I've lost a person so far, that could be the difference! 3. I bought some clothes in Marshall's and Walmart this weekend. When I began, I couldn't even buy things in specialty brick-and-mortar stores like Catherine's or Lane Bryant, I had to order "supersize" clothes. Now I'm almost in department store plus sizes.
