Big News!!!
I had a drink about 8 months out. Now that I've lost my excess weight and have begun dating after 10 years, I am drinking more socially. I drink Captain Morgan/diet cokes and I can't say that it 'hits' me harder. I try to only have 2 or 3 drinks over the course of a 6 hour evening with diet soda and/or water inbetween. I did have one beer earlier this month after much dancing, and it tasted good.... However, I think moderation is the key and your body will let you know if it can handle it.
