I thought I would post this morning since I will be returning to work full time. We made it through week 3 of the challenge! First week I lost 4 lbs and the 2nd week I didn't lose any at all. I was glad to see that the 3rd week I lost a total of 3 lbs. This puts me at 170 and a total lost of 119 lbs. 20 more lbs to go to goal. YAHOO!!!!! Also would like to share that I went shopping the other day and fit into a size 12 jean and a size 10 stretch cord pants. It was the best moment ever. I called my Dad from the dressing room and had tears in my eyes. I don't even think I could get into that size when I was born lol . If felt incredible! I hope everyone is doing well. Lets hear from everyone no matter how you have done. The fact that we are in here trying is something to be proud of. Tara surgery 4/18/05 289/170/150

Congrats Tara!!! I'm on the same page as you. Starting weight 292, I'm currently at 170. Doctors goal weight 150, my goal was 180. I share your suprise in fitting into a size 12 jean. I went to goodwill saturday and bought a lovely sag harbor size 10 red pleated skirt. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so i can wear it to work. Keep pushing on with your success. My surgery date was 12 APR 05. Again congrats. Tina

Tara, I am still holding my own. I haven't stuck to the P/B this week. I hope all is doing well. I am still going to the gym strong. I might have to go back to week one to make the scales move again. You are doing great. Congradulations !!! See you lighter. Joanne

I know you can do it Joanne! I need to go to the gym to, but the Dr. won't release me until some time in February hopefully. Right now he is just letting me do my walking. Hugs, Tara

Hi Everyone! I've lost 8 pounds total. Boy, this weight sure isn't dropping like it used to! Things here have been crazy with work, activities, etc... I think I really need to concentrate on making better choices and drink more water. (I hate water!!!!) It was almost easier when we had such a structured diet and knew exactly, when, what and how much to eat!!! I get in about 900-1000 calories per day. Should I be able to do more than that by now or is that about average??? Teresa
