Its this how it is now?
Now that I am no longer a beginner does this mean I have to struggle with my weight. I go up and down and stand at the same weight for along period of time. Does anyone else go through this?I have been between 165-170lbs for the past couple of weeks. My goal is to be 140-150 lbs. I am back at the gym on a regulkar basis and if I can make it I do my walk..

Alice, It seems this is how it works. Most people I talk too is having the same problem. You obsorb more calories now so you have to work harder now to get weight off. Your body burns less calories too. This doesn't mean you are done losing but it is up to you. Good luck. I am struggling myself to get off 50 more pounds. See you lighter. Joanne
I am right there with you all!! I have 41 more to go and I have been PLAYING with about 4-5 pounds lately. My problem is reverting back to old habits so I am going back to the basics and trying to lose the last 41 pounds. I am at 189 and I need to be down to 145 by April 18th which is my 1 year. We can all do it, we just have to be honest with ourselves and remember this was a TOOL, not a miracle cure....we will never be cured from the disease of obesity...the best we can hope for is lifetime remission.....it is a lot like cancer because there is no cure, it is terminal if not kept under CLOSE watch and it can creep up on you without much notice.
Hang in there!! We can do this.....we have come this far!!!
Joyfully,

Hi Alice,
You're not alone. I have been at the same weight for one month now. I have increased my exercise but my appetite has also increased quite a bit lately. I'm afraid I'm going back into old habits as I have no restrictions on what types of food I can eat. I know what I have to do but it is so hard to make myself do this. I'm going to give it my best shot. Good luck to you.
