Hi all. well I havnt had a good day again. Ive hardly eaten anything so I need to go back downstairs and make a shake. This is all ive had today: B coffee and protein shake. D- small bowl cream of vegetable soup s- sf jelly. couple of cups of coffee and hardly any water. Ive been out all day , because I just had to put my mum into a nursing home and I had lots of things to do and I forgot to eat and drink, so although its 11 pm I will go and have one more shake before I go to bed. I should be the size of a skinned rabbit. Its not fair!!!!! hugs from down under Helen

Hi Helen, First of all let me say you have my prayers. I've been there with my mom and it is not an easy thing to do. It is very important to keep yourself hydrated especially now. Stress does crazy things to our bodies let alone bodies that have undergone gastric-bypass. Also even though you are eating very little it is understandable that you are not losing any weight. When we dont eat on a regular timetable and enough calories we go into starvation mode and our metabolism conserves and shuts down even more. It doesnt know when it will be getting food again so it decides to hold onto what it has. I know this is a tough time for you but try to keep something handy. Maybe move on to the next stage and go back to the liquid stage when your life calms down a bit. Dont let yourself get run down. You are an important part of this group. Keep your chin up and drink, drink, drink....Jackie
