Good afternoon all. How is everyone making out? Just wanted all to know I am still here with you all and looking forward to seeing how all is doing. I ate yesterday about the same as the day before. Today it seems easier. I had a yogurt for breakfast and snack and a protein shake for lunch. I am up to 600 calories and 43 g. of protein but I do feel really good. I think my calorie count was to low the first 2 days. Don't forget to post your progress. Will post again tonight. See all lighter. Joanne

Hi Joanne: I am here with you all...I thought I would let you know how I have done the last couple days. and to give a few pointers here... Here is what my day looks like... I get up at 7 am and have a carb options shake....20 grams of protien...only 6 net carbs....some of that is from fiber.... I have another shake at 10 am....20 grams of protien 12 noon lunch 20 grams of protein Soup,,,,,cream of choice but i dilute it with 2 cups skim milk and drink it over an hour or 2,,,,take my time... Then at 3pm I drink a shake.,,,,20 grams of protein 5 pm I have more soup...20 grams of protien same as above and drink it over an hour or so...s 8 pm shake....20 grams.....protein 10 pm.....S/F jello as much as I can tolerate.....I do not limit the jello as it is considdered a liquied so here is how my day breaks down.... each shake is 11 oz liquid...20 grams of protein....X 4 is 80 grams of protein plus 44 oz of liquid to my 64 ounce goal per day... my soup comes out to about 20 grams of protein per meal so that is 40 grams of protein for lunch and dinner....plus another 16 ounces of liquid per meal X 2 so that is another 32 ounces of liquid.... and my jello which is usually a cup or better 2 if i can tolerate it,,,,and that is another 8 to 16 ounces of liquid... so my day breaks out like this... 120 grams of protein 80 to 90 ounces of liquid now youmaybe unable to do it like i do....but you should concentrate on as much liquid as you can tolerate.....that is key here....you need to snap that bladder into shape...this will do it....you may get sick of liquids,,,but i have already lost 5 lbs since January first.... 3 of those was over night.... Good luck and remember,,,,,protein protein protein liquid liquid liquid... You can do this and keep up the good work,.,,, Rae

I am still here too, have not lost anything yet, but have to admit I am eating yogurt for breakfast, soup for lunch and dinner and then supplementing between times with sugarfree jello and pudding, but not drinking as much water as I should did the same today, but was so hungry when I got home from work tonight, I did eat an apple!!! I am now drinking my water and will drink that the rest of the night, did drink a glass of skim milk too that gave me a full feeling. Am due to start my period next week so I know I am a little hungrier then usual this week. I will hang in there will all of you. Jo told me to try eating some lettuce tomorrow with lunch with the soup, that might help me make be less hungry at dinner, I had a head in my refrigerator. Will take some with me tomorrow with some oil and lemon juice for dressing. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can report some weight lose by the weekend. Hang in there everyone, we can do this!!!! Hi All! Day 3 and I'm still hanging in there. Yesterday I was able to increase my fluids and today I am finally getting rid of it and then some!!! It's been killing me but I have stayed away from my scale. I want it to be a surprise---We'll see if I have the fortitude. My days have been pretty much the same. There is not a lot of variety on liquids. I'm already looking forward to next week. Last nite when I made my shake I added 2 teaspoons of S.F. hot chocolate mix and popped it into the micro and it was like drinking hot chocolate. It was WONDERFUL!

HI all. First of all let me tell you how proud I am of all of you guys for hanging in there. I know this isn't easy but the end results will be well worth it. I Finished off my day with Hot Chocolate ( the protein kind) for snack, Broccoli soup for dinner.I also had some egg drop soup and jello. Oh don't forget my decaf coffee and v-8. My total calories was about 950 without the egg drop soup ( I couldn't find the calories on this) My protein was 78 g without the egg drop soup. If anyone knows the calorie or protein let me know. Hope all has had a good day. Here's to looking at Day # 4. The middle of week one. See all lighter. Joanne

I had a much better day today. I still need to work on getting some extra water/fluid in. I got in about 80 gms. of protein and 64 oz of liquid. Hugs, Teresa PS What is the average amount of calories everyone consumes on a regular day???
