Challenge Anyone?
Hi! This is Linda S. Glad to be joining you girls in this challenge. Have not lost anything more in about 6 months, want to lose another 30 or 40 lbs. by summer. Am going to walk, exercise and follow the diet plan. Looking forward to hearing from all of you. Talk to you on Monday!!!

Well, I started that right after Rae Ann posted that and I have lost 10 lbs since the 15th of this month, which I had my 8 month check up with my surgeon. I got on the scale yesterday and I could not believe it! I used to put on 10 - 20 lbs during the Holiday's! Its a wonderful feeling to lose now!
I have found that excerising at least 3 to 4 days per week for at least a hour and half to 2 hours. Is the key and get in at least 80 ozs. of water per day and stay away from the carbs.

Tom, you are doing so well. Glad to see the plan is working so fantastically for you. I need to check on if I can use my protein shakes that you mix with non fat milk? Did you use shakes for your protein suppliments, if so, how many a day did you have and did you mix them with water or non fat?

Yes I use the either the 1% milk or the non-fat powdered milk in my protein shakes also I add a egg to them too, I have at least 2 shakes per day, sometimes three. I also try to drink atleast 80 ozs. of water per day too. I notiice I the weight loss is better the more water I pu****s very hard somedays to drink that much water. But since I workout so much I really push the water. I do sometimes use waer to mix with my shakes too, if I am out and about and don't have milk, I just mix the protein mix with a half cup of water and some ice cubes.

Happy New Year all!!!! I am so looking forward to tomorrow and starting this challenge. Thanks to Tom and Rae for volunteering to be our guides. Get everything you need today so you can start in the morning. I am going to make l/f cream of broccoli soup in the morning. Today I will pick up some decafe coffee. This will be the hardest part for me. I still remember after surgery that's all I wanted was a cup of coffee and when I got it 2 days later it taste like grinds. I already have my bottled water and I am going to cut down on the coffee too even if it is decafe. I wish all luck in this challenge!!!! We are going to do so great. I will post my weight in the morning. All do the same and lets get this thing going. LOOK OUT WORLD, HERE WE COME ON THE MOVE IN 2006!!!!! SEE ALL LIGHTER!!! Joanne
