NOW HEAR THIS!!!I have what you are looking for!!!
Hello all April brothers and sisters...
I have recently read your threads about plateaus....I have the answer for it and it is very worth your time to try it...It works and if you work this the right way...you will be on the weight loss trail once again. I was determined to find a way to break a plateay early if the day would arrive that it has struck me so here goes...listen carefully...it works and you will be amazed and wish to hug everyone around you...
Here is what you do....
Start on a Sunday or a Monday! it is vital you start in the beginning of the week..
Get back to the basics...yougurt, your proterin suppliment of choice, broth, jello, pudding, water, water, water, cream soups of all kinds....
For week one of a 4 week basic training.....for exactly 7 days...eat as much as you want of the listed above food choices...nothing more no veggies, no fruit, no sugar, we did it the week after surgery we can do it again...and live...
For week two of basic training...eat no more than 1/2 cup per meal 3 times a day of soft food material....tuna,oatmeal, taco meat, mashed tatos, any thing soft, plus all you want from the list from week one of basic training...throoughout the day
For week three of basic training...eat no more than 3/4 cup of food 4 times a day of ground food...cereal, chicken, any thing you would consider ground....plus all you want from the week one of basic training...not week two, week one....throughtout the day
for week four....eat no more than one cup of food three times a day of any of your desired meals...example....breakfast, 1 scrambled egg half peice of toast 1/2 banana...trust me it fits into a cup...or if you prefer..weigh to eight ounces...no more than eight ounces...per meal...dinner would look like this...for me...1/4 cup meat, 1/4 cup mashed tatos, 1/4 cup green beans...1/4 cup salad....plus all you want from week one of basic training throuhgout the day...
Then at the end of week 4....you go right back to week one and start all over again...
Trust me on this WLS buddies...we all have a common goal and this program will work...it took alot of trial and error to find a plateau buster and this is the real deal...yoou will lose the pounds off of this way if training...and that is what it is...we need to retrain our pouchies to listen to us...I was sick of having to listen to it...i dumped enough and since being on this..well have not dumped since..i have control to use this tool to the best of my ability
Give it a try and you will see results....I am here for the support of any one who needs it.... we are all in this together and we can over come...we just need to stick together....feel free to email me or IM me any time you want....ask for my IM info and I will be glad to give it to you...one thing I have learned,,,,,,we can not do this alone...
God bless each of my WLS sisters and brothers in the month of April...
I think of you often...
Best of luck to each of you....

Joanne:
I have lost 135 lbs now. I only let myself plateau one time. One time was enough for me. I am appraoching a tummy tuck soo. I has surgery on the 11th and hit my first platue 3 months out. My plateau lasted for almost a month and I was so down and discouraged. I talked to my Bariatric office and they are the ones that told me to go back to the beginning any time I wanted to..So I rotate my weeks and have been on a consistant weight loss ever since. I am losing about 2 to 4 lbs a week. It works..I am surprised that there are not more responses to this post.
Please let me know how you do. I had someone else try this and she lost 27 lbs the first month and lives by it now...if you are unhappy with the plateau buster...you can always increase the liquied diet to two weeks to get you jump started again.
Good luck and God Bless your journey
Rae
Printed off the diet and posting to my fridge.. I was thinking that the only way to bust this was to go back to the very beginning... a very good place to start!! Thanks... and the reason I didnt post earlier is I usually just stick to Indiana Board because I am sooo busy delivering baskets and having meetings with new friends...
I am down 85 pounds and from a 28 to a 16 but am sure i could have done better..
Linda
Rae, I am going to start this next week. I am also joining a jazzercise class.I will be having hernia repair surgery and a T/T in May. I have lost 112 lbs so far but really want to lose another 50 lbs by then. I am having this done in May because my Dr. is taking a new job in June and I really want him to do my surgery. Thanks for all your support. I will keep you posted how I do. Good luck on your T/T. See you lighter. Joanne

Hi Rae
and thanks for that. I dont come to the April board very much because I am such a slow and pathetic loser, I get depressed. Its not in any way that I am not thrilled for you all, but I lose if I am lucky, half a pound a week and it has been that way for months. I am only down 58 lbs now , and it is certainly not because I eat too much, just the opposite. Anyway I feel like the biggest failure when I see so many people who had surgery in April, like yourself, losing 135, it feels as though I am the only one who hasnt lost over 100lbs. I am going to try this as from Monday, but it dosnt look that different to what I am doing now. It was so nice of you to take such a lot of time to write it all out for us. Ive printed it , too and certainly am desperate enough to try anything at this point.

Hi Rae Ann
Thanks so much for writing this. Now there are a few of us who are going to be doing this, beginning this week, I am starting on Sunday and I just want to get one thing clear in my head. In the first week you say we can have protein suppliments, is that our protein shakes? I can only get certain ones here in Australia and the one I have you mix with non fat milk , is that OK? Can I have say three of those a day along with the jelly, soups and water?? If i can get some crystal light can I have that or not? Sorry to be so specific but Im going to do this and do this right.
Thanks so much for the motivation, I need this so much right now.

Hi Rae Ann,
You are the answer to my prayers. I haven't had my computer for a good while (a virus got me) and my son just got me back on line when he came home for Christmas. I have really struggled thru the Holiday season
and not really doing too well. I looked here for a Plateau Buster and Lo and Behold there you were!!! It sounds So simple. It makes me wonder why I didnt think of it myself and I think the answer is it is so easy to fall back into old habits and old ways of thinking. Thank You for posting this and I'm going to join the others for group support. You are an ANGEL!
Take care
Jackie
