Hi D. Please dont feel discouraged, I am down only 55lbs so you are doing fantastically. I feel like a failure everyday when I come to the boards and so many who had surgery in the same month as me are down twice what I am. I know we are not supposed to compare ourselves to others, but I do and it makes me so frustrated and down that I have to be such a slow loser. Hey, I have a good idea. You compare yourself to me and then you will feel great. Chin up.
hugs from down under

Please do not get discouraged.....would you like a plateu buster????take this advice and watch the scales move again..I had surgery on April 11th. I hit a plateau 4 months after words and have done this ever since and it will work but you have to work the program...
in the beginning of the week,,weather it be a monday or a sunday...go back to the very basic of yor diet. liquid only for one week..that can be any cream soup, broth, coffee, tea, yogurt any thing that was considered liquid.
Then week two go back to eating just a 1/2 cup no more than that of soft foods...cottage cheese, mased potatoes and so on soft only plys liquid...
week 3....ground diet.....anthing that can be tolerated ground down...taco meat, meat loaf, such like that...no more than a half a cup per meal.....6 times a day.....
week 4...eat what you are eating now business as usual....plus get in all your water through out the day and watch the pounds fall off of you..
you will be amazed when you retrain your little pouchie how well it responds...please email me if you have any questions I will be glad to walk you through it day by day if I have to....we all need encouragement...i have lost well over 130 lbs doing this and have not plateaud since....
yoou will be glad to give it a try...
good luck
Rae
