wow moments
I really love reading about everyones wow moments. I had a few this week and would love to share. i started out really really heavy (420lbs) and am down to 306lbs as of today (5 /2 months post op). This past weekend there was a carnival at a field by our house, and my husband, kids and i WALKED all the way over there. I didnt once get winded, and he actually had to keep up with me for a change...wow moment #1. #2 was i actually got onto and rode a ride for the first time in about 10 years, and i didnt kill myself....then wow moment #3 was my grandmother came out and wanted to take me to breakfast, and usually i dont go out to ANY restaraunts, but i wanted to spend some quality time with her so i went. we went to dennys for breakfast, and ordered 1 meal with 2 plates, but my wow moment came when they seated us at a booth, and i slide easily into the booth, with lots of room to spare between my tummy and the table. I was SOOOOOO excited. ok, well thats enough for me. everyone keep up the good work, i am proud of each and every one of you.

Anita way cool!!!! and good for you! & congrats on a great loss!
I had two this week A) when i stepped on the scale and it said 186! i haven't been this low since before i was pregnant 12 years ago.
B) then the jeans i bought a month ago started slipping of my now no existant butt, then were a 14/13 ... hehehehe! Go me!
Hugs,
Danielle
I had one too! One of the office workers in another department came up to me yesterday (she knows I has WLS and asks all the time how I'm doing) and said, "Laura, you look fantastic, but those baggy khakis have got to go, you need to start wearing tighter clothes!" Now I've always worn baggy tops, even when I was thin (all those years ago) but to have someone tell me I needed to show off was an amazing experience.
Happy Friday to all!!
