Hi all! Before my surgery on 4/13/05 I did a lot of research and weighed (no pun intended) all of the pro's and cons before making my decision to have the surgery. Or so I thought I did. Physically the surgery was the best decision I have ever made. HOWEVER!....... I did not take the financial aspects into consideration. We went from my husband and I both working 2 jobs to just my husband working for a while. My house is now in foreclosure status. My husband did not want me to "worry" about anything except my health so I knew nothing about it until I read it in the local newspaper. Oh, what have I done! I sure could use some prayers! On a brighter note, I have lost 78.6 pounds! Thanks for letting me vent! Brenda

Brenda, I'm so sorry! You must contact the lender. They want to work with you, they don't want your house. Explain to them the situation and ask them to help you work out a plan to bring the arrearages current. They want to hear from you and will work with you. This will also relieve your husband of the stress of keeping this from you. After you work things out with the lender, have dinner with your husband and gently tell him that you have talked to the lender to work things out and please please talk to you about stuff. Good luck, Lisa

Brenda, You are in my prayers. Will you be returning to work and when. I was out 2 months and on light duty all summer. I had surgery 4/5/05. Hang in there. All will work out. I truely beleive behind all bad things there is something good. Remember if God brought you to it, he will bring you thru it. Take care. See you lighter. Joanne

Brenda--Prayers are going up for you and your hubby. I used to work at a credit union and it does make a difference WHY you get into financial situations. You can put a statement in your credit report about a medical problem (only as specific as you want to be) that required surgery and for you to be off work. Lenders will take that into consideration when they see late payments, really! Meanwhile, you have improved health and a supportive husband. Work from those two things and I know you'll come out okay!! HUGS to you--Sunny
