Plateau is over!!!
Yeaaaaa, I am so happy, I haven't lost (or gained) a single pound in 41/2 weeks and was getting rather depressed. I thought that this was it for me. Stuck at 70 pounds down. Don't get me wrong I am very happy with 70 pounds but was hoping to get down 100. So anyway, I stopped stepping on the scale 1 1/2 weeks ago. Today everyone kept saying how good I looked and asking if I had lost anymore weight. I felt compelled to step on the almighty scale (the mood breaker or maker) and sure enough, I was down 5 pounds!!!!!! that is 75 pounds now!!!!! All I did was increase my protein and water and thats all it took. I have had a pretty rough week so this was perfect timing. I hope everyone else is doing well. Everyone have a great weekend.

I here ya! I was on a plateau for the past 2 weeks and finaly I went to GNC last Monday got some new protein bars and upped my protein from 60 grams per day to 80 -100 per day since Monday and I have lost 5 pounds since last Sunday. I was getting worried. So I asked around on a couple other message boards what people said to do was up the protein and water and change your exercise, so I upped my protein like I said, then I upped my water to roughly 100 ozes per day. Its hard to do... Then I added swimming to the 1/2 mile walk per day. I only go swimming twice a week. But I am going to start walking at the local shopping mall so I can get out of the weather this winter .

WOW Kristy you are doing so well. 5 lbs in a week is terrific. You said you upped your protein and water to get things moving again, can I ask you quantities you are eating? I dont measure in the same way you do, we use metric so could you explain what you eat on a daily basis, portion size and how often you eat. Im really looking for some answers here, and hope since you have done so well you might be able to give me a boost along.
