hey everybody, it's been awhile since i posted, but i thought i would share some of my new pics after losing 104lbs!!! the new pics are right above my September postings. i was just like alot of people on this site when they are thinking of trying to have this surgery. i really didn't think it would work for me like the people i was seeing on the site. i thought that i would probably fail at this too, but i was like what the hell maybe it could. here i am almost 5 months out/19 weeks to be exact and i'm down from 353 day after surgery to 249. To this point i've been one of the lucky ones with minimum hair loss, i can eat pretty normally, and the one complication i've had is my ulcer which i still deal with. other than that feeling great, and looking better. Good luck to all of you pre-ops out there if i can do this anybody can!!!! kriss 353/249/199 50lbs from goal!!!

Congrats on your loss so far. I had surgery april 27th, and of this morning i too am down 104lbs. I cant beleive it. i started out a lot higher than you at 420lbs, and now down to 316. I am SOOOO happy with the changes for the most part. like you i havent had the major hair loss, and for the most part i can eat normally, but still have occasional vomiting depending on what i eat, and if i eat that one bite too much or one moment too fast. Keep up the good work, and NEVER think of yourself as a failure. even if you werent to lose another single lb, think of it as look at how much you have already lost, and its more than you had lost prior to having had the surger. i you. anita b. 420/316/???
