Calling All April Loser
Thanks Linda for the post. I'm only 50lbs away from goal and it seem like I am never going to get there. I was hoping to lose at least 87lbs by my 6 month check up. It's true with me also. I need to stay away from the scale. That is my biggest downfall. Weighing myself at least 4 times a day since I had the surgery done. I just don't want to stay off the scale for a week or two and when I finally weight myself again I will only have lost 1 or 2 lbs. That would really send me into a extreme state of depression. Can't really tell if I am losing inches or not. My clothes are fitting the same to me. I'm going to stay strong for you and check back with you in about a month to give you an update on my progress.
I soooo feel your pain right now. I am gettling a little bummed out. I have been STUCK at this weight for 3 weeks now. The scale hasn't moved up or DOWN. I am not going to complain about losing 70 pounds but I would like to drop about 20 to 30 pounds more before I stop losing. This is my longest stahl since surgery. I have upped my protein and nothing so it must be the exercise thing. Anyway, I feel for you, I am one day behind you on the surgery date. I feel like it is too soon for this. Oh well such is life! Let me know when you start melting again and what it was that helped. Good luck

hello,
I had my surgery on the 25th of April my weight was 315 and prior to surgery I was 299. I presently weigh 236lbs. It is a struggle to find something you like, I have to admit I have not been behaving as well. Excercise is a number one problem with suffering from depression and fibromyalgia. I did go through a period where I wouldn't lose and even went up the scale a few pounds but I guess thats normal. Good luck on your continued journey. wls sista
