Hi Peeps!!
I havent posted here before today and thought I would introduce myself.. I stay mainly on the INDY page because I have sooo many buddies i can meet face to face at support groups and clothing exchanges.
My surgery was 4/26/05 and I am doing great.. I cut off all my hair before surgery incase I lost it it wouldnt have far to go.. so far so good.. now I am in the process of growing it back.. but the nutrisitinst said we would know between 4-6 months..if it was going to fall out.. So I just keep doing what I am supposed to..
I have lost about 72 pounds I havent weighed since the first of last week. I exercise 3x a week at Curves and ride my Harley which takes some energy to handle!!.
I have 4 grand babies.. 1 is 3years old and the other 3 are 14 month old triplets

Welcome to the april page. My surgery was the day before yours. At least the first one was. I had lap RNY on the 25th and had a leak so I went back in on the 26th for an open procedure. I am down 84 lbs.
I have a 8 yo and he keeps me hopping. Give those trips another 4-6months and you'll really be hopping grammy.
Hi Linda! Welcome. I had my surgery the day after you - April 27th. I have lost about 71 pounds since surgery and 89 total. I'm doing great also.
No grandkids here, although I am certainly old enough. My kids are 23 and 20. I have another 185 "kids" at work, all between the ages of 12 and 14. I teach junior high.

Hi Linda,
My surgery was the same day as yours!
I'm losing hair, but have lots, so I'm not too freaked out by it.
I've been walking every other day. I joined an exercise class in June and got hurt, so I've been unable to work out since then. Just yesterday, I received approval to begin working out with a personal trainer. I'm excited about that.
Best of luck...
Cindie
