The scale is moving again
Thank God. Monday I started eating a protein bar or two ounces of cheese about a half hour before bedtime. I don't know if that is the catalyst making the scale move or it's just coincidence, but I'm down three pounds this week. I think my system stays awake burning calories digesting the extra food. Perhaps all you other stalled people can give it a try.

Hi Pam,
The only stats I record are protein grams (I generally get 50- 75 or so) and liquids (68-90 ounces). I do write down everything I eat. So far, praise God, I've been keeping to the straight and narrow with protein foods, Kashi Go Lean cereal, vegetables, and fruit. (Well, there was the cake and cookie splurge last weekend but that was a mental health emergency.) Pasta and bread and fried foods don't agree with me so I have no problem avoiding them. I refuse to count calories, I don't do fat free because when the fat comes out, for the most part the replace it with sugar alcohols and gross stuff. I don't count carbs either.
Good luck to you,
Lynda

It could be, but probably a coincidence. I was in a stall also, and when I checked Thursday, I had finally lost 2 pounds. More good news! I am finally seeing gray roots. I never thought I'd say that! It means my hair is growing again and I have lots of little grey stubble. Off to get some hair color. Joy! Joy!

Congratulations Dee!
Truth be told, I don't exercise as I should but I have to admit I have chronic back pain and aren't just a lazy brat. I have started eating more protein and I've been taking an herbal laxative which clears the pipe so I'm not packing extra pounds up there. I'm just grateful the scale is moving again.

There must be something in the AIR..... Yah! I just broke the barrier....
yesterday I steped on the scale and I had lost 3 lbs., then I step on it today and I have lost another 2 lbs. So -108lbs and about 230 to go.
Oh, I have to let you all know about Green Tea- I was reading a article on it at another board yesterday that its good for weight loss as its has a natural energy booster in it, so I made some yesterday and I have been full of energy and its seems that I am intaking more water though, but the scale is going down.....
Lynda what kinda of protein bar do you get ? I have tried some but I have not found any that I really like.
Take care
Tom
Hi Tom,
I buy the Power Crunch bars. I like the vanilla ones. They taste very close to a regular sugar wafer cookie. I keep them in the freezer and eat them frozen. Makes them firmer and crunchier for a better sense of "yum".
I've been drinking Lipton diet green tea with citrus. I love it.
Congrats on your breakthrough!
