Just not very high. I am doing great with my weight loss, no major complications and down 60 pounds now. My main problem has been low iron. I am borderline anemic. I have tried the bariatric iron supplements and they didnt help. Im now taking 540mg of iron in a supplement with folic acid, B12, & Vit. C combination, twice a day. I will go back in a few weeks and have my blood drawn to see if it is improving. All other labs are Other than being tired, and pushing myself I feel great. I just wish I had some "get up and go!" Ive learned I can tolerate KFC's chicken livers. They are fried, but havent had any effect on me as far as dumping, which I have yet to experience. Im trying these a few times a week, to help get my iron level up and other iron rich foods. These are the only form of liver I will even consider, Im not a fan of cooked liver. I dont even have energy to eat so I have to force myself to eat which I never thought I would ever have to do. South Beach products have been a lifesaver! My fruit fetish has run its course. I am now addicted to trying different SF popsicles. Weigh****chers Cookie Crumb is the bomb and I limit myself to only one a day. Most days I do not even have the desire for ice cream. Blue Bunny has some GREAT Carb Freedom popscicles too. I havent had the desire to try any NSA or SF ice cream in the tubs, I would probably never eat the whole thing so I stick with popsicles. I think Ive done excellent! No cravings, no desire to even try soda, Im so used to Crystal Light and water I can live on this stuff. The only thing I havent given up is my REAL coffee and then I limit it to 2 cups a day, and Starbucks is a rare treat. I dont think I have been to Starbucks but once in the last 3 months. So where are all the rest of the April 4th gang! Let me hear from you guys! Im telling my journey with photos. I have lost 20 more pounds since the last updated photo posted on my profile in June. I will update again soon. Take care! Hugs, Sandy

Hey girl, glad you are doing so well. I now have my pre-op photos on my profile............ I have lost around 35 pounds total.......... I don't cheat, I just don't lose fast........... it is the screwed up thyroid thing I guess. Cannot find 3 month pictures................ will have to do some 4 month photos, they are basically the same thing anyway. hugs

Nat!!!!! So GOOD to finally put a picture with the name! The one thing we have to keep in mind is we all loose at a different rate. I know I get frustrated. I have developed a pattern, 3 weeks nothing happens, on that 4th week 7 to 10 pounds will be gone. How weird is that. I will take it tho! I was once told I was hyperthyroid and put on medication, my thyroid is still borderline low but no other doctor seems to think I need medication. I knew if they put me on it, it would help me loose but no one would so I resorted to surgery. GREAT to hear from you! I stay so busy with work and home drama I dont have much time to be online these days, but I try to pop in every so often. Keep in touch! Hugs, Sandy

Hey REBA!! How you doing girl? Sounds like you are doing really well. I was SO GLAD to hear (no offense) that you stay the same for 3 weeks at a time and then move on the 4th week. I have actually been COMPLETELY STUCK this whole month!!! I am down a total of 73 pounds (including presurgical weight loss) but, I haven't moved a single pound in several weeks! What could be happening? I'm not eating junk and I don't understand how this should be happening only 3 1/2 months out of surgery. IT STINKS! I guess I can't complain, I've done nicely so far - it's just frustrating and scary. I keep thinking that I am going to stop at this weight and never lose any more. I am getting a pool installed tomorrow and am hoping to start doing water aerobic-type workout to jump start the weight loss again. My fibromyalgia relapsed and I have been in some nasty pain, so I haven't been able to go work out for a couple weeks. Anyway, enough complaining for today LOL! Just wanted to say HI!! Gina

GINA!!!! So GOOD to hear from you too!... One thing Ive noticed is if I make a effort to get in alot of protein (80 to 100 gm a day) AND at least that much water a day it does seem to break a cycle. Granted, I cant keep up with it everyday, some days I do good to just in protein but when I write it down and weigh the next day, the scales do move. Right now the only exercise I am doing is mowing the lawn and I mow some everyday. I know my neighbors think I am nuts but it works for me! Esp. in this Alabama heat and humidity. I can easily get in 3 bottles of water within an hour an half by just being outside and sweating. I was getting so discouraged with no loss for so long I finally quit weighing, and just weigh once a month now. I try to weigh the 4th of every month so I will update again on the 4th...I couldnt resist the scales friday and I was so surprised I had lost a few more. CONGATS on the loss! That is wonderful!!!! Time for new pics girlie! Sorry to hear the fibromyalgia is kicking in. I think I have that sometimes but so far no diagnosis, but mine seems to flare up from time to time and then I am debilitated since all i take for pain now is Tylenol and that just doesn't cut it. Please take care and keep in touch! Hugs, Sandy
