Hair stopped growing????

Hey everyone, I was expecting some hair loss and was totally prepared for it....acutally at this point I'd welcome it lol. I had my hair cut a week before surgery, which was April 28th, my hair is very short....check the pics in my profile. It hasn't grown an inch. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I mean short hair in the summer is nice....but I really want it to grow dammit lol. Any advice would be awesome. Hair, skin, and nails vitamins GNC has them they mite work.

Tabitha: My hair has been falling out in gobs. (See earlier post.) Also, it is not growing. I colored it a week after surgery,(4-7-05) and no roots are showing yet. Usually I have to color every 5 or 6 weeks. Actually this week I think the loss is slowing down; "thank you God", very little left to loose without having bald spots. Not really any advise, just misery loves company. Hang in there. Beverly

For a while after surgery I went through a phaze where no hair grew-- on my head, on my legs, anywhere. Then I started losing hair. Now, I've noticed that my hair is growing again-- little sprigs sticking out all over on my head, and my legs need to be shaved again every day!

Hi Tabitha, From what I understand not enough protien will cause this. Are you sure that you are intaking enough protien ? By the way 82 lbs in 12 weeks ! Congrads ! Its been 11 weeks for me and Im down 120 Good luck with your hair ! Julian

Wow- I thought it was just me! I accidentally chopped off my bangs with a thinning shears about a week after surgery. Usually my bangs grow into my eyes within a couple of weeks after being trimmed. Now they haven't grown at all- and I'm waiting for them to grow back since I look terrible without them! At least I know I'm not imagining things!
