throwing up

I too have lots of troubles with eating meats. chicken breast is really bad. I have cooked it several different ways but still have trouble. My dr told me that our bodies are still in the healing phase for 3-6 months post op, and that some foods just might be too hard for our bodies to handle. everyones bodies are different and tolerate different things. I found that i can eat something one day, and when i eat it the next i have trouble with it. Just take it slow, and keep trying. i know throwing up hurts, but its just our bodies ways of telling us that something isnt quite right. keep up the good work, and good luck.

Pat, I had my surgery the day before you and I am dealing with the same thing right now...... I have come to the conclusion that I just got too comfortable and I was taking to big of bites and not chewing enough. I learned the hard way yesterday..... I ate chicken, got sick and felt ill the rest of the day!! Today I have had nothing but soft foods and liquids hoping my pouch will heal or feel better!!! and to top it off.... I am so gassy I can't stand it...... I am sure it is all tied in together!!! everyday is just going to be a constant reminder to eating!!! lol!!! at least we know our tool is working!!! lol!! Take care, Nikki
