2 1/2 Months out!! I can not believe this
Hi all,
I just wanted to update my progress. I had my surgery on April 11, 2005 and I have lost a staggering 67 LBS OMG I can not believe this. I see it on the scale and I see it in my face but I can not see it in the rest of my body yet. When will that come. I know I will not keep this rapid weight loss up but boy it would sure be nice if I could. I just want to see the weight loss when I look in the mirror.
hi ronda,I had my surgery on april 11th also and I think more than 60 lbs is tremendous, I've only lost 42lbs and I feel a little frustrated but I am sticking to the plan.I can't take any of the protein supplements so I know I'm not getting enough, but 42lbs lost is better than any gain.congratulations.You'll start to see it yourself soon I'm sure. Maureen
Thanks for those encouraging words. 42 lbs is awsome also... Considering where we have come from you are right this is great. I think my dramatic weight loss is due to walking everyday 2 miles on the treadmill at a speed of 3.6 plus I am not really eating so I may be doing some things wrong I am getting in my protein shakes still 3 times a day but I am not really eating any solid foods that often. I know that it will probably catch up with me but nothing really stays down anymore.
Keep up the good work and let me know how you are doing
according to my doctor you are right on track he says you should loose 15 lbs a month and from where we are coming from 30 lbs is awsome also. I have to admit though I am not eating all of the foods that I should I am only still doing the protein shakes and exercising obsessively everyday 2 miles on the treadmill at a speed of 3.6. I just can not seem to keep the foods down. I am however doing the protein and water constantly and that is probably why there is no room for the solid foods. You keep up the great work and your metabolism will kick in again I am sure.
Congrats to you on the fab weight loss. I had my surgery on the 12th and lost 49 lbs. as of last week. Now, I have gained a couple of them back. I have actually been playing with about 5 lbs for the past week. It is frustrating, but I am just focusing on the program, not the scale. We will all get there, just at different speeds.
Hi Rhonda, I had surgery April 11th and have lost 65lbs. I havent been doing any exercize (which i should). My doctor said i dont have to drink the protein drink that i can get it in my food. I have been very lucky that i can eat anything and not get sick. I eat alot of meat (all kinds). I eat 2 meals a day and try but dont get in all my water. Good luck on your weight loss Rhonda.

Wow, 67 pounds is really good. I do believe it has a lot to do with the exercising your doing. You have earned every pound lost, great job. I have now lost 46 pounds and feel full of energy. I walk up to 2 miles a night, now I feel horrible if I miss a night-who would've thought? I know what you mean about the lower half not feeling or looking smaller, I feel the exact same way. My face is for sure smaller but the rest of me doesn't feel that way! Keep up the great work
