Will I ever eat beef again?

Hello Jacquie, My surgeon also does not allow beef or por****il 6 months so I have not tried either. They said that until this time the stomach does not produce enough gastric juices to digest it properly. Don't know if that helps but maybe you will just have to wait a while to eat beef. I can't wait to have a hamburger, turkey burgers just aren't the same

Friday night I had Porterhouse steak and lobster at a restaurant. Saturday I had Porterhouse steak at home. Sunday I had a Roast. And actually, my first day in the hospital, I had pureed beef. It was heavenly. So, yes, I can eat beef. I can pretty much tolerate anything as long as it doesn't have sugar or high carbs.
