I NEED HELP???

I had surgery on 4-11-05 and I had a stricture taken care of last friday. It is not necessarily true you will throw up immediately if you have one. I didn't. My situation was pretty similiar to the one described. I can eat and it goes down fine. A few hours later when I would drink something is when the problems would start. You should be able to eat meats and solid foods by now, and you shouldn't wait until the whole is completely closed before going in to have it looked at! Jen

I go it Friday to have it looked at the doc. thinks its a stricture cause my pouch can hold it but it wont cont. its path down and has to come back up since it cant go down. and thanks for the sugestions on the protien shake. heather

I find most of my problems are due to not chewing enough. The food just hangs out in my pouch and I have to throw up to clear things out. Some foods like pork and red meat can be harder to digest as well
