Feeling Tightness

Hi y'all. Had surgery 4/25 I am starting to feel some tightness like below my chest but above where my surgery was. I have some sore ness where one of my incisions are. I had Laproscarpic Gastric bypass. I am not having any problems eating so far. But I do feel tight. Anybody feel this way ? Any Advice. I called my Doc's office and I am waiting for a call back. I'll post what they tell me. Thanks Guys Julian

Well tightness in the check is never anything to wait to call the dr about.. glad you did that. I was feeling the same while in the hospital and when I came home but the doc told me it was because he cut thru muscle and that was the muscle healling. Maybe you are feeling the same.

I agree...Excellent decision calling the doctor. So many times I see folks on OH that look to others for medical advice and it scares me. Here is what it was like for me. Have you ever been working on something and you get a cramp in your arm and you physically have to pull your arm down to stretch the muscle? As my chest would tighten up and I would lay down, that is what it would feel like in my chest. I could feel the muscles being stretched back out. My only solution - better posture. I had to kind of force myself to keep my shoulders back to help keep my chest stretched out. David Boston Open RNY-041505-488/423
