question about weighing...
Hopefully you are keeping a food log...what does this have to do with weighing in you ask?...Well, I think it is as important to check in with yourself as it is to weigh yourself. Come up with some questions - How do I feel - How was my energy today - Did I get my meals in today - Did I eat what I was supposed to - Did I get my exercise in - Is my pain better - Was it easier to get out of bed - What have I noticed - ...
Whatever the questions are, just checkin with yourself and write your answers down. Seeing an improvement in health is also very important. I see a lot of people that end up with the attitude that this surgery was cosmetic surgery and I see a lot of those same people struggle.
Remember what your goals are. Let me give you an example that kept me going this week when the scale let me down. For the first time in a long time, I can see the bottom of my steering wheel. If I didn't notice that, I could have spent the entire week bummed out about the scale!
