how long does trush last

Thrush is basically a yeast infection in your mouth...... you may be able to keep it to a minimum with yogurt, but you really need a script of liquid Nystatin from your doctor. Like I said, it is a liquid and you swi**** around in your mouth and spit it out..... it can take anywhere from 7 to 10 days to clear up! If it gets really out of control it can take alot longer to get it cleared up.... I had it really bad when I was younger. I was taking the acne drug Accutane and it took me months to get rid of it!!! I had thrush right after surgery. My surgery was almost a month ago. I still get flare ups. I awake each morning with a horrible taste in my mouth. I had to have a prescription to get rid of mine. Good luck!

I found out I have trush this past Tuesday. My Doctor called in a script that day and I think it is mostly gone. Thank God. It made even water taste like sewer water for me.
