2 weeks post-op curious about food changes
I'm 2 weeks out as of today and so far so good no problems except a couple of episodes of constipation and eating too much. I had the fobi pouch and have been on full liquids for a week now. I'm just curious as to when some of you went to the pureed food stage and when you did what type of food did you eat?? The thought of blending food is gross to me. I don't have my first post-op appt till next thursday so I still have no idea how much weight i've lost thus far which is starting to drive me nuts i've gone through alot and I want to see some benefits you know Anyways if any of you have any advice please feel free to post looking forward to your suggestions.
I'm just two days ahead of you. I started pureed foods a week ago. I eat tofu, creamed soups, non-fat yogurt, soft-boiled eggs, cheese, refried beans, lots of sugarfree popsicles, and beef and chicken broth. I tried one of Campbell's low carb soups with chicken and blended it before heating. It was good. Today I tried the black bean soup from Trader Joes. It was soooo good I had it for lunch and dinner! Tomorrow I get to move on to shrimp and tuna.

PS I haven't weighed since my one week follow-up on May 4th. I go to my PCP next Tuesday and can't wait to step on the scale.
