Fran, I was like you.... I am three weeks out and you get to the point where you just get hungry..... I have not been pureeing everything but I try to stick to alot of softer foods..... like refried beans with some cheese sprinkled on top, 1 scrambled egg with cheese sprinkled on top, a banana, some yogurt with Post Grape nuts poured into it.... if you let it set a few minutes the grape nuts soften. Those things have been fine on my stomach...... just remember to eat slow! that has been the hardest thing for me!!!! especially when you are hungry!!! hope this helps, Nikki

Oatmeal has been a blessing. Add some cinnamon & Splenda. Cottage cheese and egg & tuna salad. I do have crackers, like 3 or 4 with cottage cheese but I mostly dissolve them in my mouth first. Lisa 254-213-150

Take some canned chicken breast in water, drain, chop it in the blender and add to a small amount of fat free gravy, serve with mashed potatoes... yum!.. I did alot of Taco Bell pinto n cheese, ordered brocolli and cheese soup from local restaurants, and had some KFC mashed potatoes n gravy at this stage. Shredded cheese over potatoes, baked potato from Wendys with cheese sauce. I dont eat alot of the potatoes but they do fill you up with a small amount and feels like you can eat more normaly. I used them as an occasional treat. Hugs, Sandy
