Great Protein "Dessert" 5 grams

Hi gang--Today is first I've had energy to post and that feels good! I'm 11 days post and already getting a little tired of drinking almost all my protein. I found a super easy tasty form of protein food on main page last night and thought I'd share in case you didn't already know about it. Just take 3 T (or whatever your portion size) of Low-fat Cottage Cheese and puree or just mash really well with a fork. Then sprinkle with a small amount of dry Jello mix, sugar-free and your favorite flavor. They suggested a dollop of Cool Whip Free (which does have corn syrup but only adds about 5 calories). Total calories under 50 and 5 grams protein, in a flash! Any other great non-liquid protein ideas out there? I'm doing my pureed organic chicken, but looking for healthy variety. Enjoy! I did Sunny

Hi Sunny!! So glad to see that you are doing well. I'm still pretty sore and tired, but it is getting better. I know what you mean about drinking protein. I am allowed pureed as of today--I had some pureed salmon that tasted good (but I like salmon). I haven't tried cottage cheese yet but this one sounds good. I'll try it. Take care-- HUGS, Krista
