Well, I had surgery on the 28th and blessedly all went very well- and by the Grace of only God, I have no real pain since waking up from procedure. I would really like to thank Shree for coming to see me and being super encouraging! I have not been hungry at all, just been eating a couple of popsicles each day. Any suggestions/responses about not wanting to eat are appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Congrats on feeling so well and making it through what I felt was the worst part of everything. As soon as I woke up from surgery I knew I would be okay. I am not very good about eating either. I just tell myself that I have to eat. I had my surgery on 4/7. I am still never really hungry. Also, things just don't taste the same. I guess it is good that I am not hungry, it is just something that I have never experienced!! Make sure that you get your protein in each day. Good luck!

Hi Krystal! I was one of the unlucky with two days of barfing--2nd and 6th--so I really wasn't too sure about eating and starting that up again. Finally, weakness drove me to it and I hit about 30g protein yesterday and will hit about 55-60 today. We just gotta do it sweetie! It's the only way to get our strength back and uncover the beautiful vibrant ladies we know are inside us! Troll for recipes on the main board or just on Google. Good luck to all of us and please let me know if I can help. I just posted a great-tasting protein food recipe on this community a few minutes ago. Hugs--Sunny

Thanks for the replies, they are very helpful. Today I just been on a mental/emotional roller coaster. I think since I am not eating, I have a lot of time to just concentrate on things ya' know? I fully stand behind my needed decision to have the surgery- I have 2 beautiful kids to be healthy for and myself. I just need to get this food thing down, I don't even want to think about food, yet I feel like I have to keep it the focus of my thoughts at all times. I have the food suggestions from my doctor, and today ate about 2 teaspoons of mashed potatoes, just didn't feel like eating it. I have to get in my protein, I know. I saw the recipe you put up Sunny, I just don't like cottage cheese, but may try it anyway tomorrow. Thanks for letting me vent. :o
