2 weeks post and no problems at all
I know that feeling of wanting a burger. I have 3 kids and I haven't quite changed their eating habits yet. But is in the works. I ordered pizza for them like within the week after I came home. I did very well. The other day I took my son to the doctor and he wanted McDonald's. I had to work myself away from that one. The good smelling fries was calling my name. But after a few minutes I got over that. I went to the doctor yesterday and he put me on solids. So far I only have eaten a loaded bake potato from Wendy's. And Kristy that thing was good to me. I only could eat about 3-4 teaspoons full, but hey it was good enough. I am glad you are doing good. God takes care of all his children. That feeling of wanting that burger will probably go away soon. LOL!!!!
I am just 3 days post op, but I must give testiment to the Goodness of our Heavenly Father too. From the moment I awoke from surgery, there has been no pain, I even was able to let the nurses know that I didn't need the morphine pump at all. God is so very good to us, and I have faith that as we work in harmony with our prayers, He will continue to be just that Good! I haven't been hungry either, but when my kids came with their dad to pick me up from the hospital yesterday they each had a happy meal from McDonald's and let me tell the fries smelled so good! But I know my purpose and desire so no fries for me-LOL!!!
