Hi Alisyn I had my surgery on 8th April , i never had a problem with mine, but i did freeze them a little and ate it with a spoon, the colder they are the less tastey, well to me anyway ,and it felt as though i was eating someit as well, give it a try and see, hope someone else can help you , take care sue

Hi Alisyn, I had my surgery on April 11th. I take an 8 oz. bottle of strawberry flavored Boost and mix it with 8 oz. of skim milk.(1/4 cup at a time) It goes down very easy. It's not too rich tasting. My nutritionist recommended that. Also, just drink 1/4 cup of skim milk. That's protein also.....Good luck, Lisa

If you're getting sick, it might be that you're drinking too much, too fast, or swallowing too much. Have you tried very small sips a few minutes apart?
