2 days post-op and doing good!!!

My WLS was Monday 4/25 with Dr. Titus Duncan. I was released form the hospital Yesterday. (Tuesday 4/26) No Problems but the stuff you have to drink for the leak test is worse than anyone said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried a Suger Free Popsical Last night but is was too sweet tasting.... Is it normal for your tastes to change so quickly? Apple juice in the hospital had to be cut 50/50 because it tasted to sweet too. I liked both of them before the surgery. Glad to be home and feeling good. Yesterday was pretty bad but today I feel really good. Torre

Toree, Congrats on your surgery glad you are home and well. Everything will be diff now just take baby steps

thanks, All is good so far I've had pudding, milk, eggdrop soup, and a protein shake. Nothing has made me sick and all of it went down easily. I thing I will try watery mashed potatos tonight for dinner. Baby Steps (with baby spoons) but moving non the less. Torre

One day in the hospital?? That is awesome! Good for you. I have had Fruit2o and Crystal Light and have had to dilute both of them about 50-50. Way too sweet for me. I am a sweet freak, but so far, no cravings for sweets at all. Let's hope that lasts a while. I could do a job on a burger though. I hate Wendy's ads, they make them look so good!!
