I'm home!!!

I'm 4 days post op and I'm feeling great!! Dr. Patterson was wonderful, I had my gall bladder out as well and she said that was more difficult than the bypass! Just took some pain medicine, I hope everything makes sense!! Any way, my mom and 2 sister had surgery, and they all went to BTC and saw their surgeon the day of surgery and then at their 3 week check up. I saw Dr. Patterson everyday for at least 20 minutes!! Everyone that I met at the hospital was soo nice, couldn't have asked for a better stay!! I recommend St. Vincents Hospital to anyone!! One thing they didn't do that I expected them to do was to weigh me! I thought that was very odd, since I had to sign a paper stating that I would not gain any weight before surgery! No big deal just thought it was a little weird!! Thanks so much for all your prayers, couldn't have done it without them!!

Hi Kirsten, Glad you are home and feeling great! I had my surgery the same day as you. Mine was Open. I'm glad you had a positive experience at the hospital. I had mine done at Barix Clinics and everyone was so excellent!! I was treated quite well. I saw the doctor everyday also. Well keep in touch! Annie
