So Happy I'm Here

It is now 4 days out -- surgery 4/21/05 -- I am still quite wiped out from the anesthesia, but I am not having to take any pain meds, so that should help with focus. Having very strange dreams!! One last night involved cooking bacon and eggs for 12 people. I have never cooked bacon in my life!) -- couldn't find the eggs, couldn't find the butter, couldn't find the bread.... aaarrrrrggggh! lol. Then somehow there was steak being cooked. First food dreams I've ever had... also in the dream was a good deal for a jacket for my son... shopping dreams I have! I am still enjoying broth (the most soothing -- George Washington has no sugar. Advent Edge protein drink. Fruit Refresher (like crystal light). Taking it slow as advised. Draining a lot. Having to change dressing frequently. I'm babbling.... Hope to hear from more who have arrived on this "other wise" on this board!!!! Marla

Hi Marla, Glad you are home! Had my surgery the day before you. I am having some crazy dreams too but mostly about eating things I shouldn't be. Take care... having a hard time sitting here at the computer for any length of time.... Annie
