I'm home

Hi, I had surgery on 4/20 and came home yesterday afternoon. Feeling better than I thought I would but having a hard time sleeping. Just a bit sore. Can't get comfy. Thank you all for being so supportive. I wondered in the hospital several times what the heck did i do to myself. But it's slowly getting better everyday. I could not have done this without all of your encouragement! Thank you all so much!! ((hugs)) Annie

I am in the exact same boat as you. My second day in the hospital was very painful and emotional for me and I kept wondering what the heck that I did to myself. But now 6 days post op and down 13 lbs I am feeling better, still wonder sometimes wonder what the heck I did to myself, especially when I have to choke down the protein drinks. I am still sore where the drain is and I absolultely can't wait until I can have some "real" food-these protein drinks are awful. It is difficult for me to get comfortable to sleep, but my only real discomfort is where the drain is so I am hoping when it is removed on 4/29 that things will start feeling much better.
