I have been out since Friday the 22 and feelin great!!!
Well I went in last Sunday the 17th and had my operation on Monday the 18th. I was woke up at 6 am Monday morning by the nurse and she said that the OR nurse was comming to get me at 6:15am. So I went in the bathroom and did my final Bowel movemennt. Which was way nasty. I hope I don't have to do any more for a couple of years!!! Then I took my shower and scrubbed my tubby clean and washed my hair and waited for the nurse to come in and put on the ACE bandages up my legs as my legs were to big for the TED socks. Then about 7 am the OR nurses came and wheeled me down to the per-op waiting room and then I was interviewed by a coupe of other people and sign my life away!!! And off to the OR I went. I guess I was under for about 5 hours. I have 6 tiny holes on my tummie and I am not in any pain. I glad of that !!! Well Best of Wishes to all the folks waiting for the operation date. It will be here soon enough.
Wow, I can't believe they admitted you a day before surgery. I'm glad to see that you are in good spirits so soon after surgery. My day is this coming Monday and I'm now on liquids...did the big "cleanout" today and am now starving. Was it normal to be under for five hours? I'm glad you are not in any pain...I hope all continues to go well.
