New date

I was scheduled to have my surgery on March 25, 2005 but my blood sugar levels were too high. I found out three days before the surgery date that it wasn't going to happen as planned. My new date is April 29th. My sugar levels are fine now with the help of some more meds. I am hoping the surgery goes off without a hitch this time. It was so very disappointing to have to postpone it for a whole month.

I'm glad to know that your blood sugar is okay now. I can understand your disappointment, I thought that I would have to reschedule my surgery for a week later - and the thought of that was very disappointing to me so I can only imagine how you feel. But everything does happen for a reason and be assured in the fact that your doctor is just that careful to make sure your okay before he/she does the surgery.

I agree. I have had so many things happen to me along my journey, and I know they all happened for a reason. They were signs that I was making the right decision. Trust in your doctor, it sounds like you have a good one.
