first post/have surgery date

Hi everyone! This is my very first post so excuse me if I totally mess this up. I decided to post because a friend of mine introduced me to the site and I think it's great to be able to talk to other people that are going threw the same thing I am. I have been fighting my insurance for 4 years to approve my surgery but was still denied after my 2nd appeal. My husband and I finally decided to remorgage our home to pay for the surgery. My daddy has also helped us out alot. My husband and I have been married for 10 years and he is sooooooooo supportive and wonderful to me. We don't have any children, yet! My surgery date is April 19th. I can't wait!

Congrats !!! I am fairly new to this site myself and I think i am addicted !!! I am having surgery on Monday April 11th and I can not wait !!! I know I will be on here a ton in the weeks to come it seems like no one can relate unless they have walked in your shoes and let me tell you there are a ton of people on here that have been in my shoes !!! Congratulations to on your surgery date! Mine is the 20th which means I have 10 more days to agonize about it . Lucky you with only 9! Here's hoping to a very uneventful and speedy recovery!
