Not home yet - but out of the hospital.

Everything went well with my surgery on the 5th - the surgeon just found a little bit of scar tissue from a hysterectomy done years ago - so the surgery took a little longer than planned. Otherwise, everything went according to plan, with no surprises. Since we live a distance from the hospital, my doctor suggested that we spend a few more days in the area, just in case. I'm so glad that I had found this site so that I could have a better idea of what to expect from those who have been there. Thanks for all your support and encouragement. Cele

WELCOME BACK CELE CONGRATULATIONS! I think that is a wise decision, you never know what might happen and what a great surgeon to be so considerate too!... Cele, I'm glad everything turned out fine for you. Scar tissue is one of my biggest concerns, since I have a huge gall bladder scar. I pray that the surgeon will still be able to do a LAP. Take care and I hope you feel better every day. Linda
