Everyone is different. I still have pain but it is tolerable. I am having diarrhea now too. Hope that goes away. I think you should consider more days off. Although if your job is sedentary, you may be ok. I am still woozy from the anesthesia as well.

Welcome back Julia! My surgery was Monday - I'm not taking pain meds anymore at all and last night I could sleep on my right side! Congrats on taking the big step, and isn't it great to have it behind you? So happy for you! Lisa

W E L C O M E B A C K! I had mine Monday! Isnt it wonderful! Im still on liquids (full) by my surgeon, and not really hungry or thinking of food right now. Just trying to find ways to get in this protein for now. My pain is easing considerably, I walked about a mile today and feel alot better so move and walk as much as you can... I slept better last night than I have in a year!. Keep in touch! Hugs, Sandy

I'll start walking the dog next week - have to make a PetSmart stop first. My friends are more impressed with knowing somebody who actually had the guts to go through it more than anything else it seems. My vision is even better. So many sudden and unexpected benefits. I'm smiling for no reason now

Welcome home! Glad you are doing well..My cousin had the surgery and also experienced the diarreha. It went away for her after about a week. She thought the benefit that she lost more weight that week than any other was worth it! LOL I am sure you are fine but if it persists you might want to call the clinic and double check. Good luck and I will hopefully be meeting you on the losing side in 10 days! Tif
