My date is the 20th-this is my first post

Hello Everyone! I am new to the boards. I have been updating information on my profile kind of haphazardly because I work at a computer all day long and the last thing I want to do when I get home is get back to the computer

I am very excited for this surgery. Well I should say very nervously excited. I know it's not going to be easy but it is necessary. I want a family of my own (I have a wonderful fiancee, but I have been blessed with infertility) and hopefully this will be one step along the way to that eventual goal. I have spoken with my PCP, OBGYN, Fertility Specialist, and the surgeon and they all feel that this could be a very good option to help or maybe even eliminate my infertility (of course, I do have to wait at least a year after surgery to try to conceive, but what's a year for a lifetime of happiness) I have read several of the stories on this site and it has helped me to hear about the struggles and the happiness of others with their decision so I hope that my contribution will help also. Who knows, maybe one of these days I'll get me one of those fancy web pages too

Thank you so much to all of you *****ad my post and have had such wonderful things to say. I am very excited for the surgery date. It seems to be all I can think of. Since it is a bit off this topic I am going to start another post about some of the websites I have found that have really given me some encouragement in the last few days. Thanks again to everyone! Best Wishes on a speedy recovery and a bright start to us all in our new lifestyles!
