Hi - My name is Laura. I am scheduled for surgery 4/18/05. I have 3 children and am a single mom. I'm excited but also a bit nervous about the recovery and how it will impact my ability to parent.

I wish you the best on the 18th. Mine is on the 14th. I hope you have some help after surgery. Just think of how much better you will feel after this is said and done. It will be hard, but be strong. Remember you control this journey....

Keep in touch and read all you can about post-op. The people on this site are awesome. How lucky are we to have found them?
